For sale is my lovely little Yamaha xs250 I bought this from a friend of a friend with the intention of fully restoring but sadly job loss means I’m having to sell it. It had laid resting for well over ten years in a dry garage although some light surface rust had crept in, all in all its quite presentable. Its a very low mileage bike for its age been only 17 thousand miles. Whilst in my short ownership I’ve stripped the carbs and ultrasonically cleaned them, fitted new plugs and changed the oil and fitted a new battery. (I am a qualified multi franchised trained motorcycle technician) The bike runs and rides nicely for an old 250 all the hard work has been done and you can rest assured it only needs cosmetic work depending on how far the new owner wants to go. The only thing It needs really is a starter button as this is somehow missing from the switchgear although if you gently push the contact it does fire straight up.
