Description
1976 Honda CB750F Unregistered US Import Modified Classic Restoration Project Manufacturer: Honda Model: CB750F Year: 1976 Engine No: CB750E-2528284 Frame No: CB750F-2007828 Colour: Red Mileage: 29316 Capacity: 736cc Starting at: £999.99 Stock No: 90133 This striking looking mildly modified 1976 Honda CB750F has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a classic project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike has few parts missing....the last owner has chosen to do without indicators & airbox, though it has got K&N style filters. Both side panels are damaged but not badly. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS......... The after market "Star" wheels are straight with nice clean alloy, good discs, calipers and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. The clocks look okay except for a knock on the tacho cup. The switches look okay and everything that should move, does so, with the exception of the starter button. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is a bit grimy inside. The modified seat looks to be serviceable, and the standard base is in good condition throughout. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are solid. The after market exhaust is solid, but the mounting of the silencer needs sorting. The engine is cosmetically clean, and cranks over nicely off the kick start. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention. If you are ready for a new project and have been looking for something a bit different to restore then look no further – THIS ONE COULD BE YOURS!!! We are listing this bike as a trade clearance item with a super low WINTER MADNESS SALE starting price & LOW RESERVE so get bidding and get this project started.......Ask yourself the question “CAN I AFFORD NOT TO BID?” Our showroom is open.
