I specialise in non-dealer standard BMW bikes and the odd (usually) Italian bike when I can get them. I've been on eBay for over ten years and in the trade for a lot longer than that … There are full details about the bike below, but of course please feel free to get in touch if you want to discuss anything. The bike will be as I got it, or has been washed by myself before the photography, but it has had no other detail cleaning. I always ride the bikes and clean them myself to check and make sure this is as full a description as possible. ALL AUCTIONS RUN TO THE END to give everyone the same chance to bid. UK delivery happily arranged, £150 to most locations, bit more for Scotland I am afraid. EU shipping also possible. GENERAL OVERVIEW:An interesting one! VERY original and decent FJ with a very good history and a couple of useful additions.Big service and tyres about 1500 miles ago, so nothing needed now.A standard seat is about £ 30... just saying...Really rather good, and even has original exhaust system on it, and original number plate too!Rides well, and definitely fully usable in modern road conditions. BASIC DETAILS: Reg Number: K468 VPJ Mileage: 32995 MOT: 10/7/2021 Documents: All docs, loads of bills and old MOT's Keys: 2 original bike keys, 2 pannier lock keys Books and manuals: All original books, also Haynes manual SPECIFICATION AND EXTRAS:ABS, but not sure if that is working..., KRAUSER panniers and wing racks, higher screen, crash bar, and a comfort seat... SERVICE HISTORY:A pleasingly large amount, a lot done at FJ owners club workshop. Too much to list, but main stuff is a recent rear shock, and the last service done at 31168 in 2020 with a full service, MOT and a pair of tyres.All seems OK now and ready to go with nothing needed. FAULTS AND ISSUES: Please remember to check the bigger Flickr pictures too if you need them, but everything is pictured below.So, for a 28 year old bike, surprisingly little.The bike looks very original, so has appropriate wear and tear, and a little corrosion on the engine paint, alloy work and frame. I think this one is painted steel.Wear and tear seems OK for the miles, and it's in original paint it seems. Still original rear vented disc too.I am not hugely taken with the seat, but it is quite comfortable and in good condition. A standard black seat seems to be about £ 30 ish on ebay.Recent tyres and service, and seems OK really. TEST RIDE: Rides very well! All works as it should, no issues I can tell.Still OK for the road, you can use it as any other bike still, and it's more comfortable than a lot now! CONCLUSIONS:This has got to be great value for money. Nothing to do to it, and it's a very usable bike still.Nice originality, and obviously cared for, and it has a touch of 90's Yamaha pink on it still...NO RESERVE SALE!!
