Description

Well cared for example, only real notable change from standard being risers fitted to the handlebars, these come off easily if wanted. Exhaust silencer is original, but the down pipes have been replaced with stainless steel. I have fitted a quick release seat mechanism, this is a cbr600f specific kit that is sold on the web and it means the seat can be taken off without having to disconnect the side panels. The plastic fairings are all fine, with no cracks or fading. Tyres are in very good order. The brakes and drive chain all work fully and the gears function correctly. The bike has no known faults, the battery and charging system are not displaying any issues. The cooling system operates as it should with no overheating or leaks, same with the oil, no problems have occured.I've upgraded the rectifier to an aftermarket one with a fined casing to allow better cooling of the unit. I did this because on the web it says that Honda CBR600F owners are best advised to do this, as original fit recifiers are very often a source of trouble.I have the paperwork for many of the mot tests. Manual etc. Oil and fluids are looking fresh still. The wheels are still smart and the things like the seat and screen are all good. The rear disc could possibly do with replacing, as it looks like it is grooved at the top edges, the wheels turn freely and the brakes do not overheat, no problems as far as I can find with steering or suspension. Any marks or scuffs etc to the bike are in opinion of a minor nature.I purchased this bike last year, but now a house move has to take financial priority. When I got this bike I did a "mycarcheck" on the history and it was all good news, without a dubious past.I find it very powerful, once the revs exceed about 4000 rpm, it is capable of really rapid acceleration, more than I would ever use on our crowded roads. I have just had a local motorcycle repair centre clean the carburettors. One thing on the to do list is to get the datatool alarm removed, that was fitted when the bike was new. Most people prefer a bike without one, as they can develop faults. I understand they can be taken off by someone that knows their way round motorcycle electrics. If you have any questions or comments on this motorcycle I will be happy to answer in any way I can. I am located in a village about 8 miles southwest of Petersfield with good links to the A3 and M27. If you wish to view the bike please contact me and we can arrange something. My mobile telephone number is; 07928434951 Thank you for looking.
