1982 Moto Guzzi V50III Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project Manufacturer: Moto Guzzi Model: V50 III Year: 1982 Engine No: PE023310 Frame No: ZGUPFAPE5CM100271 Colour: Red Mileage: 4693 Capacity: 490cc Starting at: £1499.99 Stock No: 90684 This rare 1982 Moto Guzzi V500 III 500 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike has few parts missing, but there are no indicators. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS......... The wheels are straight with nice alloy, good discs, and calipers, but the brakes don't work. The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome. The headlight and bowl are intact. The clocks look faded but seem to be fundementally okay. The interesting switches are faded, but everything that should move does so. The paintwork is faded and has rust spots. The fuel tank is fairly clean inside. The seat base is rusty but not rotten. Both mud guards are intact. The standard downpipes are rusty but solid. The "Silentium" silencers look like they will clean up. The engine is cosmetically clean, and turns over but there is no spark. If you are ready for a new project and have been looking for a classic Moto Guzzi V50 to restore then look no further – THIS ONE COULD BE YOURS!!!
