Yamaha RD350LC 1981 it’s with a heavy heart I have to sell Welcome to the sale of my holy grail Yamaha rd350lc U.K. matching numbers. Only 7 very careful owners all from north Staffordshire were its lived all its life. Fully restored back to as factory stock as you can I have old mot’s going back to the ninety’s original service book stamped for the first few service’s tool kit tool tray etc I’ve known this bike most of my rd riding life and lusted for it for years please don’t confuse this with most restored LC,s this was a great bike to start with .all complete with no parts missing or messed with it’s been standard all its life the bike has had a professional an extensive restoration by one of the best LC restorers going and he also lives in north Staffordshire and he purchased the bike for himself I was lucky enough to pursued him to part with it when he completed it the bike has been subject to a full in-depth restoration all nuts bolts screws cables gaskets are factory Yamaha genuine parts levers switches are Yamaha factory new .Engine has been vapour blasted fully rebuilt with main bearings crank bearings and balanced seals etc it’s had its first rebore 0.5 with quality pistons oil pump fully rebuilt and engine has been professionally painted the correct colour frame and swing arm blasted and power coated gloss black wheels refurbished and alloy rims polished and in mint condition new tubes and Bridgestone period tyres original lock set one key fits all locks forks have been ground and rechromed fork stanchions were sent to a alloy refurbishment shop in in Kent for full refurbishment and are as new with new seals and oil rear shock fully refurbished to brand new original seat in mint condition with original seat cover from new original Yamaha mirrors in mint condition clocks are mint original and not messed mileage showing 25309 backed up by old mot’s uncut rear mudguard and number plate holder full bare metal respray on tank no inside liner just how it should be it’s mint no dents filler etc the side panels are new due to the old ones cracking as they do it’s been re sprayed back to factory colour as it was when new new genuine grips all parts that should be olive green have been anodised olive green all parts are the correct factory colour ie frame engine nuts bolts etc the list is endless I have all the new plastic factory bags for the new parts there must be over a hundred and fifty I had to sell my two matching number fully restored German 350LC’S to get this one so just to give you an idea of how much this bike cost this bike will stand up to any concours restoration at any show I’ve been to plenty so use as is or take it to shows and spend all day talking to folk about Soto sum up a genuine U.K. LC lvery low owners no expense professional restoration done to an incredible standard any questions call 07882701409 viewing welcome it would be nice if the bike could stay.
