1990 Honda C90 Cub, fitted with popular Upgrade Honda copy Lifan 125cc engine with 4 speed manual clutch giving a mighty 7bhp! (Actually its quite nippy and considerably better then the original slightly wheezy 90 cc 3 speed). V5 shows engine as original 90cc. I came across this bike recently being stored and unused in a dry shed and although I had actually gone to buy another bike altogether I felt compelled to buy this too.....I would dearly love to keep it as I think they are great things and a real piece of transportation history, (and a sound investment!) but I just don't have the space sadly and something has to go. The bike has a comprehensive history file, including original sales invoice from august 1990, service receipts, all old MOT certificates and old tax discs. Also included is the sales receipt for the replacement engine in 2008, and of course the current MOT certificate valid until march 2022, and the V5 document in my name.The original toolkit in its roll is in place behind the left side panel.The bike has covered just 150 miles since 2008 and has clearly been a well looked after machine. As the pictures hopefully show, the bike is in really nice tidy condition, not perfect of course, but exceptionally good for a machine that is 31 years old, and a very good example.Original metallic red/bronze paintwork is good, though the front mudguard appears to have been damaged at the front at some time and has been plastic welded and re painted the correct colour, but hasn't been finished off with clear topcoat so its not very shiny compared to the rest.There is a bit of paint wear to the bottom edge of the front mudguard, some lifting around the passenger footpeg hangers, and the top of the handlebar cowling is slightly faded from the sun,The odd scratch and sign of wear as expected.Repair to small 15mm tear to the seat vinyl.Some small pitting to the chrome on the wheel rims. MOT went through with no advisories, everything works as it should, the keys fit the ignition, helmet and steering locks, fuel tank shows no sign of corrosion, tyres, suspension and all electrics are in good order.The engine starts readily and runs very well indeed. Please study the pictures to get a better idea, I've given an honest description of the bike, and am happy to provide serious buyers with any additional information or pictures they may require. I may be able to deliver the bike at additional cost to the buyer, but only after inspection and full payment has been received.
