Approximately 1976 (P registered) MZ ES150/1 motorcycle for sale as spares or repair. This came to me from a bereavement sale in the condition shown in the photos. I have stored it in a dry garage, but have come to realise that I am not likely to find the enthusiasm to rebuild it and could do with the room in my garage. There are no keys and no paperwork of any kind, though the bike has a legible UK numberplate attached so it should be possible for the new owner to apply for a replacement registration document through the DVLA at their own cost.. The bike appears to be largely complete and there are several parts from a second similar bike, including another engine. When I got it there was no petrol tank & I purchased to one shown - it has a small dent on the top but is free of serious rust. There is no key for the fuel cap, but it is unlocked. Both engines are likely to require completely rebuilding, as they came to me with no protection in the intake / exhaust ports - I do not know if they are free or seized, as I have not tried to turn them over. Best to assume siezed ! There is no guarantee that all the parts required to rebuild the bike are present and I can see that some parts are missing, like the twistgrip parts, petrol tap and the dynamo stator. I do not have any further parts, only what you can see in the pictures - you are bidding to buy what you can see. Also included are 3 "new" Heidenau tyres - 1 off 2.75x18 front and 2 off 3.00x18 rear tyres of the correct type for the bike. These tyres are unused, still feel pliable, have a "grippy" feel & have been stored in a cool dark location - but they show mid/late 2003 manufacturing codes. It would be up to the purchaser to determine whether or not they are fit to be used. You will need either a van or a car & trailer to collect the chassis and parts - I am unable to deliver. The parts are mostly packed into 3 plastic shipping crates, which are included in the sale. This is an auction and it will run to the end, regardless of final price achieved - you could get it for the start price, as it needs a new home. This is an outright sale, with no guarantees of any kind and no return option. As the bike and parts will have to be collected, payment is required to be cash on collection (no Paypal) & it would be appreciated if collection could be made within a reasonably short period after the sale ends - say 7-10 days maximum. The bike is in Huddersfield (West Yorkshire) postcode HD2 & I am approximately 4 miles from either J24 or J25 of the M62.
