PIAGGIO LIBERTY 125 This auction is for a 2007 Piaggio Liberty Scooter First registered on 23 March 2007. New MoT (No advisories) - Expires 20 May 2022. Mileage 77900 Km / 48400 Miles. It has two keys, including the immobiliser programme key. I purchased this scooter for my niece to use whilst she was at university. It is fairly high mileage, but runs and drives very well. I fitted Heated Handgrips as it was used all year round. (Working fine). I also fitted a Genuine Piaggio Windscreen - (easily removed or refitted in about 10 minutes as required). It has an alarm fitted (due to an attempted theft whilst I had it!). It has a small top-box fitted - large enough for one helmet. The reflective yellow / black chequer pattern was added to increase visibility on the road. (This is vinyl and could be removed if you wish). It had a new final drive belt fitted approx. 2000 km (1250 miles) ago. I have recently replaced the fuel filter and all the fuel pipes. New battery fitted just before the MoT. I also have a number of spare parts from an accident damaged scooter: Engine; Wheels; Various Trim Parts, Some Lights: Fuel Tank; Seat etc. BAD POINTS This is a fourteen year old bike - It's not going to be in showroom condition! Scratches and chips due to age and use on bodywork etc. Paintwork bubbling on wheels and front fork lowers. Some mild corrosion on exposed metal parts. Front mudguard has a small crack on the front. Small tear on the front of the seat. Steering lock does not work properly (allows some movement of handlebars) due to theft attempt. Front storage box has separate key instead of working from ignition lock (due to damage in theft attempt). However, this lock key is the same as the top-box lock. (I bought a matched pair of locks and replaced the Top Box lock). NOTE: Use in the London Ultra Low Emission Zone: There is a sticker on the front trim cover over the engine stating it is EURO 3 Compliant. However, when I checked the registration on the ULEZ website, it came back negative. If you wish to use it in London, you may have to get proof of EURO 3 from Piaggio.
