** In light of recent events regarding the ongoing health concerns, we have taken the following precautions as listed below until further notice. We thank you for your patience & understanding **We are still facilitating collections, however; in order to reduce the risk of infection for yourself and ourselves, we have now adopted a zero physical contact policy. When you win an auction we will let you know the current collection process available to minimize the risk of transmission. Current government advice is to stop any unnecessary physical contact, as such we have taken the decision to stop viewings. We will however assist buyers with describing damage & condition of the bikes wherever possible. Please either send your questions via the eBay messaging service or call a member of our team who will be happy to help. Current government advice is that cash can be a way of transmitting the virus, as such we are no longer taking cash payments. This is to reduce the risk for both yourself and ourselves, we ask that all payments are now made via bank transfer, PayPal or card. Please note there are some restriction for card payment, please contact us for further details Please send a copy of your driving licence or passport via eBay immediately after winning an auction, a clear picture taken on a phone is normally sufficient. This will enable us to adopt our zero physical contact collection policy.PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY IS NOW BEING CHARGED AT THE STANDARD RATE AS SHOWN BELOW. All of the Motorcycles can go back on the road, but it is the buyer's responsibility to make sure the vehicle is roadworthy before using on the public highway. Please note that we will expect purchasers to provide photo proof of identity (photo card driving licence or passport) when collecting. We will need to take a copy of your photo ID on collection for our records. If you are arranging a courier to collect the vehicle then you will need to message us with a picture of your photo ID. The courier will also need photo ID with them upon collection. If a photo ID cannot be provided then you will not be able to collect the vehicle. Please note - If a bike is sold with a V5, you will be handed the new keeper supplement only. The transfer of ownership will be completed online by ourselves (This applies to both trade & private customers) New ABI guidelines and salvage categories: As of 01/10/2017, a new salvage category system for motor vehicles is being introduced by the Association of British insurers (ABI). The new categories will replace the current format of D and C. The following category will now be used for motorcycles that are able to be returned to the road: N: Non-structurally damaged repairable The definition of the above salvage category can be found on the ABI's website. What to do if V5 (Log book) is not present: Applying for a replacement V5 is very straightforward and inexpensive. You can apply for a replacement V5 in your name by completing a "V62" form (We can provide you with a V62 form if required, also available online or from your local post office). Fill out the form with all of the relevant information and enclose a cheque for £25, once sent to the DVLA they will issue you with a new V5 (Normally within 2 to 4 weeks). What does a "write off" on HPI register mean? If a vehicle is registered as a "write off", it means that it has been involved in an incident (normally either an accident or theft). It has subsequently gone through an insurance claim process and has been deemed uneconomical to repair. All bikes can go back on the road once they are repaired and made roadworthy / safe. The extent of damages to vehicles can vary so please study the advert images carefully. "Running" in no way implies or imparts any guarantees as to the mechanical integrity of the motorcycle.
