KTM 300 EXC. 2 Stroke.April 2014. On a 14 plate. I am the second owner and got the bike June 2015 with only 280 miles on it and 17 hours.I bought it from Drysdale KTM dealership in Scotland, buying from a main dealer gave me confidence it would be a good bike. It has lots of extras on it:Carbon Fibre exhaust guard.Anti vibe handlebar clamps.Bar risers.Steel radiator guards.Metal sump guard.Bark buster style hand guards.Frame protectors. It has uprated suspension in the bike which is set up for over 95kg or more up to 115kg rider (and riding gear / luggage)I will include the standard suspension which is easy to swap back if you want the standard suspension. Front tyre is brand new.Rear tyre is recent so loads of life in it.I has mouses in both wheels which were new in 2019 and have hardly been used.Recent new quality DID chain and sprocket.Recent brakes both front and rear, discs are good.Just put in new front wheel bearings. I will put a new MOT on it this week. It will pass without any problems. The electric start works well, spins fast and fires up easily from cold.Recent new Yuasa battery this year. Bad bits: It is a two stroke so noisy and smoky.The plastics are all scratched from green laneing. If it bothers you a new set complete costs from only £80 which are really easy to fit. One of the white lower fork leg covers is broken where it bolts on, it has three bolts and one of the three holes has a crack in the plastic, you would never notice it unless I told you! Hand guards are scuffed. Includes KTM folder and books. Tool kit. Steering lock key.Has the box of bits that comes with the bike, with indicators, other sprocket etc in it.Loads of receipts, for battery tyres mousses etc.Spare air filter and some 2 stroke oil.V5 present and in my name.Datatag which I never registered to my name.Has the spare power valve springs in a tube. This bike is fully serviced and ready to go. All the consumables have recently been replaced so nothing needs doing.I have mainly used it for green lanes in the UK and always washed it after rides and kept it in the house.Always done regular gear box oil changes. People have asked about the piston. It is running the original piston. It has always been run on the mild power valve spring and not ridden hard on the power band. I asked my mechanic recently to change the piston and he said it didn't need changing. Considering it is quite a simple and not hugely expensive job I thought he would suggest to do it anyway! A friend that I ride with has a 250 which is really old and still on the original piston. We came to the conclusion that doing gentle green laneing is clearly kinder to the bikes engine compared to racing around on the power band! Make your own mind up on this!
