We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike has few parts missing, but it has seen some action. There is damage to the top fairing near the right mirror mount. There is easily visible damage to the lower right part of the top fairing, and the lowers are well attached at all. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS......... The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy, good discs, calipers and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight, but there some light piting on the legs. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and mounting. The clocks look good but the speedo has settled at 20kph. The switches look and feel good. . The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork at the back is better secured,and the tank only has minor chips and scratches. The fuel tank dry inside and some debris can be seen. The front seat looks good, the rear has a repair which fro all the world like chewing gum. The indicators look tidy, but all are marked in some way. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are solid. The standard exhaust is solid, and looks good where it can be seen. The engine is cosmetically clean, and cranks over nicely off the kick start. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention. If you are ready for a new project and have been looking for a classic TZR reverse cylinder to restore then look no further – THIS ONE COULD BE YOURS!!! The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated. We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of Title but we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.(This can take upto 4 weeks) Registration. You need to get the bike MOTed. (Vehicles over 40 years old are MOT exempt) You need proof of year of manufacture in writing. Phone Yamaha UK customer services on 01932 358000 with the Model, frame & engine Numbers for a small fee they will send you a letter confirming the age. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number. Send all this paper work to the DVLA, who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration plus the current amount for the road tax. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number. Spares you may need Our used spares dept may carry items you need for this project. Any parts available will be offered for sale on eBay.
