I bought this moped earlier this year as a project, the previous owner had kept it in storage and was moving after using it at festivals back in the day. I no longer have time to work on it and want to pass it on to some one who will enjoy it instead of holding onto it myself. No V5/never registered on the road. The bike is running well and sounds great. The rear brake does not work (not looked at), the front one works fine.The pedals do not engage when pedalled, looks like the ratchet is broken/stuck as the rest of the mechanism works fine. left pedal slightly bent. A Previous owner cut the wire to the lights.The worst paint damage is around the fuel cap, chrome has general rust, particulary on wheels. Work done on bike:- Attempted to de-rust the fuel tank with vinegar+salt and washed some sediment out. Tank is still rusted and sediment remains, no leaks though.- Cleaned carb and replaced rubber seal- Cleaned exhaust and replaced baffle.- New spark plug, fuel line, filter and fuel valve- Changed the oil twice Bike comes with oil for the fuel and gearbox (enough for 1 maybe 2 oil changes), lithium grease and spanner to repack wheel bearings, flywheel puller tool, gasket set, spare carb seal and fuel line, original fuel filter and valve, original baffle and part. baffle was swapped for a new one but the orginal is still usable.
