I have owned this Smallframe Vespa V100 for 26 years and have the V5 in my name and address. It is a 1982 Y reg, so will become Tax and MOT exempt on it's 40th birthday. This bike starts, runs, idles and has working brakes, lights and horn. All gears select properly. It was last used by me over 20 years ago. At some point in the past I decided to get it running again and fitted a new front shock, some bearings, and brand new Michelin S83 tyres. At that point, I clearly got myself a girlfriend or new hobby, and it was put away in the back of the garage again. It has done zero miles since then and the tyres look new. Smallframe Vespas are very much in vogue and collectible at the moment, and this would make a very easy cosmetic project for the next owner. It is a runner, stopper, and see in the darker, and all it needs is someone who is good with a splash of paint. There are some surface rust spots dotted around it, and the only major bit where it has penetrated is on the rear of the floorboard and is shown in one of the pics. Thats it, there's nothing else to worry about. To get it running, I replaced the (19:19 Dellorto) carb and have been running it on an external fuel source. The fuel tank is solid with shiny metal inside and just a small bit of surface rust where the petcock is bolted in.
