Kawasaki KE175D 1980 Road legal I’ve been using the old KE to compete in classic motocross events the last couple of years which is great fun!The end of last season the engine had a rebuild with new conrod, main bearings, seals, piston and cylinder hone.I have only been up a few green lanes since. In my ownership the bike has had a new clutch, cables, fork seals, chain/sprockets, seat cover, levers, gear change shaft, carburettor overhaul, heavy duty inner tubes, air filter, wheel bearings, brake shoes and just about everything else to to keep it well maintained It has a current MOT test until December but as it's over forty years old it is Tax and MOT exempt. Currently fitted with road legal tyres, front like new but rear wearing low, I could throw in a pair of nearly new (one meeting) Metzeler classic MX tyres if the price is right As you can see from the pictures there are no clocks, keys, lights, minimal wiring and running on premix I've owned this bike for a couple of years now and it has been great fun reliving my youth whether it’s chasing Maico's round a track, up a green lane or just out for a mess around aiming for a beer garden (remember those!!) It is a much loved little bike which will be missed especially the radial fin cylinder head but due to the current circumstances it is up for sale. Inspections welcome and recommended within social distancing rules, collection only from South Somerset and the paddock stand is not included Thanks for looking
