BSA 250 STAR 1978 Had the bike about 4 ½ years, bought it for my Dad to tinker with then my son took an interest, now after not doing really anything with the bike it needs to go. Please note that the engine in the bike is a TRIUMPH engine, It looks like the bike was originally blue but in its time has been painted black. All the chrome work is pitted. The bike is a non runner, kicks over ok although about every 4 kicks it seems not to engage. The bike has a spark. I don’t think it will take a lot to get going but is sold as a restoration project. GOOD POINTS Turns over and has a spark lights work, high and low beam and back light ( not the correct front lens) will need new switch Horn works but not the correct switch Brakes work, rear drum connector not correct V5 in my name BAD POINTS Wiring not great so assume you will need a new wiring loom seat ripped where the exhaust meets the barrel needs a new clasp assume tyres are no good. I am happy and recommend you come and see the bike yourself although social distancing must be adhered to. Bike located just outside Preston, Lancashire (PR3) Payment either by paypal or cash on collection, the bike will need collecting within 7 days of the auction finishing.
