Hi for sale as spares or repairs KTM 950 SMR 2007 I bought this KTM unseen for a trip to TT which was cancelled so no need for it now. However since buying it in good faith and whilst getting ready for the trip I have since discovered that all is not well. Early clues were the ignition switch was not wired up and there was clear evidence of some changes around the front end. Upon doing an HPI check (bit late I know !) I found out it was cat C - I then started a closer look and found plenty of evidence of a large front end impact. There are also some dents in the frame and the lower yoke and probably the forks look to have been changed. I also suspect that the geometry of head stock is incorrect as the front wheel looks too close to the radiator and the rear of the front mudguard has been cut accordingly. The radiator also looks to have been repaired. So having been ripped off by the previous seller (who wasn't remotely interested in helping and denied all knowledge of any issues) I want to be as honest as possible regarding these issues - please give me a call 07801 554604 if you would like more information. On a positive note - and the bike starts and runs really nicely with no nasty noises etc and generally looks in good condition. I had two brand new tyres fitted to the front and back and have a filter and oil ready for a change. There is no MOT but I do have the V5 in my name. I don't have the time or space to fix these problems so am hoping this will make a good project for someone, frames do come up on ebay or could be professionally repaired and the electrics could be sorted quite easily.
