We have for sale my VF1000FE that I bought as a barn find to restore and use through the summer to go to bike meets and classic bike events. It had stood for 10yrs! Unfortunately due to the current conditions and a change of circumstances this isn't going to happen! These are becoming very rare and are an appreciating classic, with a claimed 122 bhp they were capable of 150mph in there day!! Below is a complete list of items that have been replaced with receipts to back this up. Engine oil & Filter, Fork oil & Fork Seals (The forks are immaculate having been fully rebuilt and painted), Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Coolant replaced with Mag Cool, Coolant pipes removed cleaned and re-fitted with new jubilees, Collector Box seals and clamps, All brakes stripped cleaned and rebuilt with new seals (including the sliders), New chain & sprockets, Bottom shock bush replaced (shock pressure charged and hold perfectly), NOS handlebar grips, Perished indicator stalks replaced It is in totally original condition as you can see from the photos other than the period double bubble screen and the exhaust cans. The carbs have been stripped, cleaned and rebuilt. The bike runs and ticks over perfectly once warm but does seem lumpy when cold. I'm sure a carb set up would sort this but I don't have the time / resources to complete this. The bike is on a SORN and will take very little / if anything to pass an MOT. This is a 35yr old bike and does has some sun faded paint, dents, scratches etc so please study the photos or visit and view prior to the auction. If you require a courier I'm more than happy to assist your chosen courier load the bike. Someone is going to get a perfect starting point for a complete rebuild or an excellent useable classic bike to enjoy. It is to be sold as seen, as a none runner and no warranty is implied or given.
