1994 Kawasaki KSR1 KMX50 Unregistered Jap Import Classic Restoration Project Manufacturer: Kawasaki Model: KSR-1 (KMX50B4) Year: 1994 Engine No: MX050BE002858 Frame No: MX050B00573 Colour: Green Mileage: 17166 Capacity: 49cc Starting at: £99.99 Stock No: 88678 This little KMX50 or KSR has recently been imported from Japan. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike is pretty much complete, but the front headlight surround has suffered in the sun and is brittle. The other plastic bodywork components have gone dull but are supple. The front indicators aree hanging off. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS......... The wheels are straight with good discs, and calipers but the brakes don't work and there is some rust visible. The forks and yokes look straight. The tail light assy is good as is the headlight. The speedo looks okay. The switches are intact and everything that should move does so. The carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is faded, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside. The seat base is in good condition. The rear indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. The back section of the rear mud guards is solid. The standard exhaust is tidy and solid. The engine is cosmetically clean, and cranks over nicely with the kick start. There is no CDI fitted so we haven't had it running. If you are ready for a new project and have been looking for a classic KSR to restore then look no further – THIS ONE COULD BE YOURS!!! We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of Title but we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.(This can take upto 4 weeks) You need to get the bike MOTed. Send all this paper work to the DVLA, who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration plus the current amount for the road tax. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
