Here we have for sale a very special Kawasaki Zephyr. The bike belonged to my Fiancee's late uncle, he was a brilliant guy and this was his pride and joy, right from buying it brand new in 1992 to how it stands now, and having covered less than 13.5k miles! The pictures speak for more than i possibly can, as you can see the paintwork has been amazingly airbrushed with the Def Leppard 'Retro Active' album cover. The engine has been re worked from 750 to 812cc, the front upside down forks from a Yamaha R1 4xv, it has a modified Metmachex swinging arm with Suzuki mono shock set up, full stainless exhaust, K&N's, custom seat, the list goes on, please have a good study at the pictures! Since the bike has been in my care it has been kept running, i have carried out a few repairs such as re building the rear brake caliper with new seals and fluid, i have replaced one of the headlights as it was cracked etc.. it is currently MOT'd until september 27th. I have all the previous MOT's, owners manual and 2 original keys. It sounds fantastic and pulls like a train! (Im used to more modern machinery, it really surprised me just how well it goes and handles!) As to be expected for a bike of this age there are a few minor blemishes here and there, however it is still a thing of beauty, and fast becoming a piece of history! Over the years it has featured in a few magazines, including Performance bikes back in 1994 as shown in the pics, and again in Streetfighters magazine in 1996. I have not put a reserve price on, i believe it will find its true value on auction.
