Francis-Barnett Falcon 1962 ride or restore, the bike has a nice “patina”.I bought this bike years ago with the intention of making a Pre65 Trials machine, luckily I bought a bike all ready done. This is too good to make a trials bike out of.The bike is 95% complete, ignition switch, chain guard and possibly other items may be missing, please study the photos for condition, its 58 years old with scratches and dents etc.The bike was a runner when I bought it, I have cleaned the carburettor and put new fuel in and have had the bike running again, it is NOT running perfect, it requires tuning, servicing:- thus NO guarantee is implied or given.I have only ridden the bike up and down the drive, clutch and gears seem to function.The bike will require a good service front to back, I have never used the bike.Jobs to do:- wiring needs sorting, ignition switch is missing the rest looks as if it just needs reconnecting. Brakes require attention, new tyres recommended, and a good service.Good Points:- original embossed number plates, a lot of the chrome is decent, seat split free, front and rear suspension go up and down. Gears select OK, both wheels have been rebuilt at some time, the bike Seems very solid and has the making of a good classic bike.
