Description
A 1988 Kawasaki KH125 2 Stroke that is a project very near completion. I've had this bike for around a year and have truthfully ran out of time and patience to take it over the finish line. Also my bike needs to be my primary mode of transport so I need something more practical even if that means a boring new 4 stroke. I've spent a lot of time on the bike up till now and there are a few things still need doing (listed below). Its a runner and has had most of the major work done:New Mitas H-03 tyres front and back Stanchions replaced with cleaner ones with no pittingNew Handle bars and gripsEngine overhauled and kickstarter replacedNew throttle and clutch cableNew rev counter cableNew carb parts fitted during carb overhaul (jets, needle, floats)Side panels replaced and fixings sourced (left needs small fix)Wheels cleaned up and sprayed black (could do with a few touch ups in a couple of spots)New rear shocksNew brake/tail light with number plate bracketNew cafe style seat Still to do:Fit new indicators front and backClutch basket and cable adjustment Tyres need new inner tubes (couple of quid off eBay)Front brake caliper rebuild needs finishing and putting back onSeat needs fitting to frame at the back (currently sat loosely on frame)Tank and side panels need refinishing as the gloss coat has cracked on tank and right hand panel (stupidly painted during cold weather!) I'll include all spare parts or parts that came off it as they may be of use. I thinks that's it, want to be detailed and honest. Hoping it finds a good home where it will be finished and enjoyed. Has V5 but is currently SORN. Buyer must collect.
