This auction is for my KH 250 triple project bike. I bought this bike as a nearly complete project in boxes in November 2012 with a view to running it on R30 with expansion chambers, getting past my teenage SuperDream episode. Over the last years I’ve had the barrels and head ported with new pistons and rings. The engine hasn’t run but has been dried stored and was assembled with lube. New other parts include spark plugs, and chain and air filters and clutch springs and light gearbox oil. Tank was already primered but I used Por15 tank sealant inside around 2015 to keep it right for unleaded E5. At the moment it has straight Renthal bars on its journey to being a 2 stroke flat-tracker but there are also clip ons and upside down bars in amongst all the parts I’ve bought for it off eBay over the last 7 years. 2 seat bases not brilliant, one foam ok, new rear shocks, originals in the parts plus some adjustable Marzochhi which would be brilliant if serviced. Frame was powder-coated, couple of seat humps, 3 fronts discs including a drilled one ( I like the image for the flat-track idea) no indicators and no mirrors and no original fuse box or tool kit. Comes with clocks and spare casings and cables and stands. Best bit for me are the Allspeed expansion chambers which I’ve taken apart and cleaned back to metal and ACF50’d. reasonable period tyres and straight rims and new rear pads. serviced front calliper with new pads and seals. Black braided hoses. Three side panels with some ok lugs some broken but original badges. Reason for sale. I’ve just bought an MGBGT in the same colour and reg as my late dads so I’m on that emotional journey. Same speed addiction just on four wheels now. Plenty of manuals and tuning articles and a 250 parts manual too included in the sale. Bike is located in East Riding of Yorkshire YO25 9UB. All parts are boxed up ready to load along with the bike.
