Due to someone giving back word after paying a deposit,I have again for sale my lock-down project, I bought this as a stripped motorcycle though most of the hard-work had been completed by the previous owner i just assembled it and got it running.Done by previous owner:powder coated frame,Rebuilt engine though I've no proof but it does run niceswing arm bearingsnew bushes etcTank and plastics painted, pretty good job but not showstopping.New replica seat complete (yambits i think)new mudguards, (not originals) What I've had done:carbs professionally cleaned and new jets, gaskets etc fitted and balanced.Alternator/ starter brushed replaced, so starts on the button or kick-start,re-assembled the whole bike.Just had a ride around my street not far, and it rides as it should.New Battery For me the only things that lets it down is the exhaust and the spokes.If i was keeping it and I'm tempted would be to re spoke the wheel and put expansion pipes on it. It is an original UK bikethe engine and frame numbers matchmileage is 44k V5 in my name and address It has to go as I've found a Suzuki GT380 triple that I've always wanted. So there we are, a nice example of an RD200 which has the hard work completed just a few things to improve or ride as is and enjoy the summer and complete next winter.
