FOR SALE. Aprilia RSVR – 2001 Mk1 Generation 2.. If you are still reading then you probably know all about the Aprillia RSVs. This is the R model that benefits from Ohlins front forks and rear shock, OZ forged aluminium wheels (not to be confused with similar looking but heavier cast items) and carbon fibre front mudguard, rear hugger, fairing inlays, fairing air deflectors and instrument surround. The previous owner has fitted and extreme racing adjustable steering damper so it is not fitted with the standard Ohlins unit. Pretty much everything else is standard. I bought this bike in May 2010 and have covered approx 3000miles since I have owned it. I have not used the bike in the last couple of years. It currently doesn't have an MOT but I can get this done if its a problem as I have not doubt that it will pass. Chain and sprockets are good. Oil and filter were changed late last year but the bike has not been used since. Valve clearances were checked and are all still in tolerance. A K&N filter has been fitted. The clutch slave cylinder seal has been replaced as it had a slight weep and was loosing a little fluid. A dark tint double bubble screen has been fitted as it gives better wind protection and, I think, looks better than the standard one. The condition of the bike is very good, I would give it 8 out of 10. It is 13 years old and has covered 23480 miles so there are some signs of age related marks due to use. There is a small scrap mark on the right side lower fairing.
