1988 Honda VT250 Spada UK Registered JAP Import Running light weight Project Manufacturer: Honda Model: VT250 Spada Year: 1988 Engine No: MC15E-1041972 Frame No: MC20-1009157 Colour: Red Mileage: 29085 KM Capacity: 249cc Starting at: £99.00 Stock No: 87338 This slim light 1988 Model VT250 Spada has recently been imported from Japan. Early on we noted it would pass an MOT so it was done and consequently we registered it. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a project is the bike, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike is pretty much complete, it even has an additional phone holding gizmo. It boasts a "Castec" frame, and some MJS machined levers. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS......... The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy, good discs, calipers and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight with some fine pitting evident. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments and switches look ok. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are solid. The standard exhaust is solid, but the silencer is scraped. The engine is cosmetically clean. The bike starts easily with a boost an sounds pretty good. If you are ready for a new toy and have been looking for a light weight to fettle then look no further – THIS ONE COULD BE YOURS!!!
