This and the fact it's only showing 35936km(24000 miles) and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike is complete & very original. It has stood a while so the battery is flat. Sadly the fuel tank is dented & rear r/h indicator is damaged & seat cover has a rip in it. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy rims, good brake plate, disc, caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight with reasonable chrome. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look good. Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside. Exhausts are original & solid. The engine is cosmetically clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention. We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of Title and we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.(This can take upto 4 weeks) Registration. You need to get the bike MOTed. (Vehicles over 40 years old are MOT exempt) You need proof of year of manufacture in writing. Send all this paper work to the DVLA, who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration plus the current amount for the road tax. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number. Spares you may need Our used spares dept may carry items you need for this project, give them a call on 01782 862200, if parts are available they will be happy to list them on EBay so you can purchase.
