I am selling my Honda Super Blackbird. It has been my main form of transport for over 6 years and I have enjoyed the bike immensely. I bought the bike with 16000 miles on the clock. The seller informed me the bike was blue then had been wrapped to white. This had been removed damaging the original paint so it was professionally resprayed back to its original blue. I average about 7000 miles a year on the bike. I have been all over the country touring and also used it to commute to work every day. I have also used the bike on trips to France. The mileage is now up to 61436 miles.I have used the bike in all weathers and it has never let me down. I have got its consumables replaced when required. The oil and filter have been changed every 8000 miles. At 30000 miles spark plugs and air filter were changed. It has had a new chain and sprockets in February, a new front tyre about 200 miles ago and a new back tyre last November I think.I was going to do the 62,000 mile service and bought the new spark plugs, air and oil filter to do it but have not got round to fitting them. I do not know engines but know the basics of bike ownership and it is an easy bike to work on. I will supply service parts that I bought upon the sale of the bike (no oil). (The spark plugs were approx £20 each) The MOT was extended until September 2020 due to Covid.I was going to keep the bike as I am sure it will be a classic one day. If you know about these bikes its the 2005 model and the last of the models with all the modifications in place. It has the digital dash and fuel injection and this model does not suffer the regulator issues that the carb bikes suffer from. It also has two Monkey Givi side paniers and top box along with a blue tank cover (not used).The bike is 15 years old and was used in all weathers however it has heated grips to keep you warm. There are some battle scars. It has had a few knocks and scrapes from everyday use. One fairing has been damaged but replaced with an ebay one however the stator cover was scratched and filled as I could never get round to arranging a replacement. It has been painted and has been like it for a while but never leaked oil or caused an issue. There is a small dent in the exhaust pipe. It is not a pristine bike. It has done over 60K miles but it is in good working order.I will be sad to see the bike go but I had the opportunity to buy a newer bike and have swapped the insurance over now so the Blackbird has to be sold. I was up to 4 bikes so 2 needed to go. Any questions please ask. The bike is sold as seen with no warranty. You bid to buy not haggle when you arrive.
